It seems that the muse has finally gotten fed up with me not doing much besides small editing of writing works, so she took up a very large club and WHAM!
Okay, maybe not exactly, it did start out with little things, except for I finally got the sewing machine to cooperate with me! It's been two years since the device hasn't tangled any attempted project into a tangled knot of insanity that refuses to come undone. And now I have a very nice chemise shirt which I wore to the Sterling Renaissance Festival on Saturday. That was pure awesome in and of itself.
But today, the muse took up the Club Of Inspiration and blindsided me. I get some cloth from thrift stores, it's much cheaper to buy a bedsheet there than get the same amount of cloth at a craft store. While I was there I stopped by the jewelry area and saw these cowrie shell necklaces. Contemplated taking them apart to make new jewelry, then whap! Now I need to make a shell-edged skirt. Which will take forever.
Then I was nudged by some inner desire to visit JoAnne's. Rivi, I know you has some dislike of the place, but I only get cloth from the remnants bin there. Was getting ready to leave when I passed the jewelry supplies and blam! Pretty pendants which must be used. I get home and put stuff away and the muse got violent. My poor head. Soon to be my poor fingers when I'm sewing some of this stuff. But still, I want to see this stuff!
As soon as I find a camera, there will be pictures! I just need to find out where my brother is hiding the contraption.

If you're the only sane person in a crazy world, you're nuts. If you're the only crazy person in a sane world, you're just having fun.
How've you been?
Good! I been thinking some about that story idea.
